1. Has had the most past conflicts in the room & is hard to rattle nowadays.
2. Meditates a lot.
3. Both 1 & 2.
Calmness is defined as not showing or feeling strong emotions.
'Is anyone born calm?'
Nope, it is trained into your existence.
Because calmness is a lifetime reward that requires lifetime effort.
And the average Joe ain't putting that sort of effort into mastering calmness.
1. Passive approach
2. Active approach
This ties to part 1 of the initial tweet.
A person with a tough past has a higher threshold for emotional pain, making calmness a side effect.
Think about consistently curling 45lb dumbbells. 20lb dumbbells will feel like light work, right?
'Right!'
This ties to part 2 of the initial tweet.
This is when you are doing actively doing exercises to tame your internal world.
Meditation & mindfulness being 2 of my favorites.
Because calmness allows you to see the situation for what it is.
There are so many people that are angry, frustrated, bitter, jealous etc.
Do you think those type of people are making optimal life choices?
'Hell no!'
Which is why if you are calm, you will:
1. Make optimal life choices.
2. Avoid making impulsive decisions that hinder you in the long run.
If you can master your calmness, you will master a connection with your internal world.
Results?
A happier, healthier & more clarified life.
Sharpen your mind to maintain control over all disruptive emotions.
You will feel unstoppable & in more control than ever!
