What does this mean?
I found out that a lot of things we knew have either evolved with new truths or at totally changed now. If you keep up with what you once knew, you may not make the most of the present.

The truth is knowledge is changing, it ain't static.
I discovered that those people that do say "You can't teach an old dog a new trick" are mostly those that resist change

If you learned anything in the past, the world is already fast paced, you can't afford to continue with those old tricks hook, line and sinker, you got to get updated in whatever it is so as to remain on top of your game.

The issue is it is actually difficult to want to let go of what you once learnt for #NewKnowledge, however, that's the only way to remain in the game.

In this past week, I had a total immersion, it came to me like I really didn't know anything (well, I've been saying that to myself lately and that is why I have resolved to read more and wide this year).

#NewKnowledge crept into me.

See, what is standing between you and I and our success is what we don't know.
I thought I knew, but I found out I knew little.
Well, the little I knew had opened some doors to me though, but to stay relevant, one have to learn more.

I know someone very close to me on a particular line of business, after working for people, he got up to start out on his own and "forcefully" devised his way out.
He got into that business and 2/3 years later, that business line introduced a new thing entirely. #NewKnowledge

The new introduction effectively downed the previous way of doing same business. In fact, the equipments used changed & of course it's actually an upgrade on what was before. Trust customers, they jumped in on the new & the man lost the business

If he waited to learn and study new trends, he would have discovered the impending change and probably be among the first to launch the new equipment for use in the country, but Alas!

Truth is, don't hold on too much on what you once learnt, make efforts to always find out #NewKnowledge on whatever it is you are involved with.
Knowledge is Power, knowledge is important but we also have to tailor it with trends obtainable.

This last week, I learnt some new things in my area of influence, my thoughts changed, my mindset changed and I just got some new insights.
I will be writing a book on a particular topic I once started writing on but stopped abruptly. I've got some new light now, I'll continue

My submission to you today is, get #NewKnowledge so, you can optimize what God has given you.
What's the point of becoming obsolete in your area of influence because you rigid.
