@ScottAdamsSays Your rebutting of "show me a small increase in temperature will be harmful" with the argument that if temp keeps increasing, at some point it will be ruinous, is only half right because: Scientists don't claim that temp increases linearly with increases in CO2. 1/
So to increase global temperatures by 10, 20, 25 degrees, as you mentioned illustratively, might require a level of CO2 that may just be impossible to generate on earth even through the most irresponsible consumption of fossil fuels. 2/
So while your rebuttal theoretically sounds right, I feel if there was any realistic chance of global temperatures rising more than a few degrees mentioned by scientists, even over say 500-1000 years, some scientist would have mentioned it. Just something to explore further. 3/x
