There are two kinds of masculinity on display in this video. One is the toxic masculinity of the MAGA boy, the other the dignified and spiritual masculinity of the Native American elder.
I'm not going to post a lot of these shootings, but this tweet nicely shows how framing matters. More often than not, injured concepts of masculinity figure in mass shootings.
This is a complicated thread. It shows how our preconceptions about masculinity can drive our beliefs. Also that science can upend all that.
