I hate anonymous sources.
Of course they are necessary in some cases. But it’s just creating a scene of chaos. Show your work.
Washington Post’s anonymous sources are now disputing BuzzFeed’s anonymous sources and both publications aren’t sharing their full understanding of events to avoid losing access. It’s incumbent upon journos to ask WHY anonymity is needed & provide as many details as possible
