BREAKING: Andrey Rozov, the CEO of the Trump Tower Moscow developer, turned an $8M profit on a NY real estate transaction and was represented by Felix Sater. The transaction happened in Dec. 2015, in the MIDST of Trump Tower Moscow talks medium.com/@ScottMStedman…
TIMELINE:

-June 2014 Rozov agrees to purchase building, Agalarov's tax guy Ilya Bykov represents him. (Sale goes thru in Dec 2014).
-Sept 2015 Rozov sells the building to an LLC for $8M profit, Sater represents him. (Sale goes thru in Dec 2015).
I looked into this sale months ago (after @WendySiegelman wrote an incredible article about it here: medium.com/@wsiegelman/wh…). We didn't know who the buyer was. We now know it was Andrey Rozov.
This is all open source info:

@BuzzFeedNews had the letter
@WendySiegelman had some of the details
Public records had the rest.
Big picture: Rozov made his first sale in NY in December 2015 and was represented by Felix Sater. He turned an abnormally absurd profit and a shell company purchased it. This was the exact same time that Rozov and Sater were working on Trump Tower Moscow
Questions we need answered:

-Was Sater paid as part of this deal?
-Was Dalan Management the true buyer of the building?
-Was this $8M profit for Rozov in any way connected to the Trump Tower Moscow talks?
