I worked my ass off for a story that's going out tomorrow. Quite literally took months of sifting through documents, talking to people in three countries, and more. I didn't answer every question, but I'm confident that I am moving the ball forward with this piece.
Months of work for a 1,000 word piece. Crazy how much can be said in so few words. I'm proofreading it again tomorrow and then publishing midday. #FollowTheMoney
(Tomorrow being the 25th). It's about a certain tower that the president tried to build in 2015/2016.

News here: It looks like the judge ruled in Mueller’s favor last Thursday and denied the mystery company’s claim that their property cannot be seized.
In layman’s terms: the judge said on Thursday that Mueller can seize property from the mystery company.
If you know any foreign government-owned companies whose assets were just seized by the DOJ, my DMs are open!

New: The Trump Tower Moscow developer Andrey Rozov listed his US location at 590 Madison Avenue, 21st floor, NY. This is the exact address of Carter Page's company.
The 21st floor of that building is the registered address for many companies as it is the location for Regus which offers virtual offices in addition to physical office space. Page, per reports, had a physical office there. It is unclear if Rozov did as well.
So yes, it could be a coincidence. But Manhattan is huge. It's intriguing that Page and Rozov ended up on the same floor in the same building.

Mystery company fighting Mueller subpoena:

-Wholly owned by a foriegn government (court docs)
-Has business in the US (court docs)
-Financial institution (per WaPo)
-Represented by Alston & Bird (per BuzzFeed and CNN)
So let's put this together: A financial institution owned fully by a foreign government, with biz in the US, rep'd by Alston & Bird.
Alston & Bird represented the Russia govenment as recently as 2014.

I was cripplingly shy as a kid. In the 8th grade I had to give a speech. I did the whole thing with my notes literally held covering my face at eye level so I wouldn’t have to see anyone.
In college I went through entire semester-long seminars without speaking once (among a round table class of 12 students).

First couple times speaking as a founder I was incredibly nervous. I gave a lightning talk at Web 2.0 in 2007 and had to get drunk to calm my nerves.

Sets houses on fire with his friends, gets into a bad car accident with his friends, his friends end up ditching the scene with Keith dying in the desert. Someone from the nearby marines base finds him and helps him.
Ends up exchanging numbers and sending letters to each other when shiro is deployed. Never one to stick around for people, it works for Keith

1. True wisdom and insight is always free.

Anyone charging you for anything is running a business. Most valuable things are freely available. That said, if you want to pay to access them more easily, go for it.
2. Give your power over to no one.

No one else has control over your life (except in a meta sense). No one is going to save you. No one else loves you as much as you (should) love yourself! So take ownership ASAP.

(P.S.: this doesn't mean we shouldn't have healthcare.)

Okay, so. At about 2:00 PM I'm going to do a thread (continuing off this one if you want to like/bookmark/tab it) about Trump's AP interview from earlier this week.
I've made no secret of the fact that I see limited value in interviewing a reflexive liar but as long as people are doing it, I am going to wring every drop of meaning out of them that I can.
For those who haven't followed me long and don't know what I actually do here, I'm *not* a fact checker. That takes skills and resources I don't have. What I have is a very particular set of skills, skills honed over a long career of picking words apart and putting them together.

(THREAD) The GOP claim that there's no corroboration of Dr. Ford's allegation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her is a lie. Corroborating evidence—evidence that tends to support a proposition—already exists. I'll detail as much of it as I can. I hope you'll read on and RETWEET.
1/ The GOP falsely claims "corroborating evidence" only exists when you have an innocent bystander at the scene of the crime who can later tell law enforcement, "I saw it all." You almost *never* have that sort of evidence in a sex crime—and that's *not* what corroboration means.
2/ Corroboration is any fact that is "probative" with respect to a given proposition—meaning, it tends to *support* a given proposition. Any fact known to law enforcement that tends to support the proposition that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Dr. Ford is "corroborating evidence."
