there's a lot of overlap on this site with creative market, but they often have free fonts as their freebie AND they have an utterly glorious $1 section:

there's a bunch of fonts for download as freebies on deal jumbo but they often also run deals on bundles of fonts for incredibly cheap, like 12 or so fonts for $9 kind of cheap:

if you want BASICALLY some of the best fonts available for incredibly reasonable pricing? you want a font from set sail studios, who has a number of free fonts available so you can see what hq shit you're paying for:

(you may recognize Northwell as "that font from the Cockygate thing what did happen some months back" so you know Set Sail has quality shit if people are trying to illegally copyright it.)
if you're looking to get a font toolbox really quickly, Font Bundles always has a limited time deal you can grab that's never very expensive AND they have a bunch of free fonts you can download (plus a new one every week!):

if you wanna get, like. fonts from the place those big-ass companies do for a relatively fair price, you can't really beat You Work For Them - but it's gonna be slightly more expensive that some of the other places i listed, on the whole. it's worth it:

(i say relatively fair because i have come across some fonts where i'm like "are you kidding me." but overall they're reasonable, especially compared to . . . Those Fonts.)

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."

Society say your kid will lag behind if he is not in top school - Fear Kicks in and you pay lacks on nursery kid.
