I suspect there's a different reason why there isn't a liberal equivalent of the @FedSoc, one the author misses: The vastly greater number of liberals in the relevant set of (mostly elite) lawyers. It's easier to organize the 5% than to organize the 95%. politico.com/magazine/story…
And at least part of that is fueled by government jobs, I think: If, over time, 1/2 of the cool govt jobs will go to those in the 95%, and 1/2 of the cool govt jobs will go to the 5%, there is much more of an incentive for the 5% to network and organize.
I haven’t noticed any differences between liberals and conservatives in willingness to accept legal indeterminacy.
Seems to me that both sides claim to have the answer; they just offer different answers.
