And this is why I can't take seriously the "Harris is a cop" crowd.

It would be one thing if they left it at just criticizing the cases where she didn't push back against DA misconduct. But no — they make sweeping statements like this that ignore her entire policy record.
This guy completely refuses to acknowledge, say, Back on Track. Or her being one of the first DAs to require body cams. Or her statewide programs on bias training for police. Or her making police shooting data public. Or her efforts to end cash bail in the Senate.
I am perfectly fine with debating whether Harris made mistakes, either prosecuting certain cases too hard or not pushing back enough against the misconduct of separately elected local DAs. But to claim she would "oppose meaningful criminal justice reform" is ridiculous.
