Tucker: “If you are in charge of ppl, whether it is a family...or whether it is the US Gov all of your decisions have to come from...a place of love and empathy for the ppl you are leading...If you do not love the ppl you are leading you will be a bad leader.”

Tucker: “I know those ideas have a very different effect on ppl who don’t have the advantages of the average libertarian think-tank employee. Libertarians live in a non-profit world, they don’t live outside the non-profit world because they can’t. They shrink & die in sunlight."

Kirk on people doing drugs: “So why is that my problem?”

Tucker: “Why is it bad? Because shooting heroin and selling your own organs degrade you and kill you. And if you care about people, you don’t want them being degraded and die.”
