Let's revisit this in light of new information. If you wanted a huge data grab just prior to a national election, wouldn't the data and location technology here be most valuable? Especially one that had no profit. It was a distraction, yes, but a treasure trove of young user data
Feels like a pump and dump to me. How many millions of users signed up over the weeks after the primary, but before the general election. Perfect timing if you want technology that enables you to drive people to a rally. Just saying this amount of data would be priceless. 
@LouiseMensch Look who else was suspicious. This article also mentions game interactions with controversial places like Westboro church. Also, Facebook RU group used game to Target groups like BLM. Remember that famous RU op on @SenFranken Roger Stone new about ahead of time?
