First Cosmopolitan bar is located at the museum as well as original Boot Boy statue. Also a collection of historic and iconic Neon signs. The new Tractor Tree will be in the Guinness Records Fall collection.

Fair generated $68.6 million (direct and indirect dollars). $11 million invested over past 15 years. Discuss and direct County Administrative Officer to develop an Administrative Policy and/or ordinance establishing requirements and/or guidelines for recognizing groups or

individuals for their contributions to the community or declaring ceremonial days of recognition on the Board of Supervisors’ agenda and use of County facilities in connection with such recognition. Supervisor Pacheco would like to have a policy before something awkward occurs

@BuddySupervisor Buddy Mendes and Supervisor Pacheco will be on subcommittee to create this policy to prevent having to vote against a person in front of family and friends. Next is request to add one Deputy District Attorney due to increase by a State directive. Passes 4-0

Consent item #52 with grant application for Victim/Witness Assistance Program ($1.6 million). This will help add one Victim Witness Advocate Position. A mass victim portion has been added this year from the State. Passes 4-0. . Conduct a public hearing under the Tax Equity and

Fiscal Responsibility Act (“TEFRA’) regarding the issuance of tax-exempt conduit bonds for United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley in an amount not to exceed $30,000,000 for financing and refinancing the acquisition, construction, improvement and equipping of health and

medical facilities located in Kerman, Parlier, Sanger, Fowler and Reedley which adoption is solely for the purposes of satisfying the requirements of TEFRA No County liability. Passes 4-0. 9. a Resolution authorizing Fresno County’s participation in the California Department of

of Housing and Community Development No Place Like Home Program with the Fresno Housing Authority to identify, apply for, and develop supportive housing projects and services in Round One of the No Place Like Home Competitive Program utilizing $6,168,706 in Mental Health Services

Services Act - Special Needs Housing Program and $2,183,000. With approval staff believes they will have a competitive application. Hope to persuade housing developers to create these type of houses for mentally ill. Some of the homes will be for domestic violence victims. Will

reach out to Marjoree Mason Center to be sure there is a good fit and not any conflicts. Passes 4-0. @LincolnSeward Magsig says San Joaquin a Conservancy Board had a four hour meeting and he jokes it would be nice if Andreas Borgeas was still in that position. Magsig also spoke
