This is the way that pure Nationalist propaganda works. Lie profusely in the name of national glory. Deny any wrongdoing. Accuse those who point out your lies of being having split loyalties and being unable to argue logically.
And here's the kicker - no one in the Tory Party will challenge this. Kawczynski will go unpunished. He has a 7000 majority in his home seat and has held it since 2005. In all likelihood there is literally no consequence for him from any of this.
You want to know the problem in our politics and democracy? Forget EU membership, the real poison is MPs who can do and say whatever they like with total impunity, safely cushioned in a safe seat and without concern for a party leadership that is either cowardly or complicit.
