some of the most fun I've had recently is tracking my own predictions in an @airtable
i read a few books about thinking probabilistically and this was a fun, safe-to-fail experiment to practice that. a friend had already done it so i copied his template
already i find myself much more open to + prepared for multiple outcomes, to assessing chances vs. black+white "it will happen" or "it won't happen"; and fine-tuning my ability to predict the future
one unexpected facet of this experiment is how vulnerable it is. i really wouldn't want to share many of my predictions. one key point of probabilistic thinking is that we're already making "bets" all the time, but it's not necessarily polite to voice our predictions
if you want to give it a try, here's a template you can use: airtable.com/shr8hnu6r98VDy…
if you learn anything, or improve the template, let us know!
