I got the timing of Theresa May's resignation wrong - obviously - but the fact of it and the reason for it, that she would never get a withdrawal agreement, I've been right all along
Two questions and one conclusion.

1. Is there any withdrawal agreement that will meet the approval of all necessary parties in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Europe and Parliament?

No.

2. Will Theresa May be forced to resign in the absence of a withdrawal agreement?

Yes
Conclusion: The Tories will abandon Brexit

And I'm not shifting that prediction one inch.

In fact, this tweet of twattish moronity tells me we need to go through the whole thing AGAIN.
In the beginning David Cameron misused a referendum to try and solve a problem of racist and jingo bigotry in his own back benches.
And Boris Johnson decided to exploit that to beef up his euro sceptic credentials to grease his way into Downing Street.
You can see the ploy. Johnson was convinced he was going to be facing Osborne in the leadership contest, and he knew that would be tough, so he went for the euro sceptic vote.

1. There must be no difference jurisdiction and law that requires a border between Northen Ireland and the Republic.

2. Nor between Northen Ireland and Britain

3. The only way to satisfy both conditions is to stay in the European Union
All we've been doing for three years is watching the English middle class steam and stamp against legal fact.
The end result is the same, we're going to stay in the European Union. But we could have chosen to do that by our own initiative and reason, instead of being forced into it with all the penis-shaming humiliation and failure

Theresa May has three equally stupid ideas about the backstop.

1. Make it temporary

2. Unliateral exit (which is actually Numer 1 again but in a different wig)

3. Replace a backstop with a full trade agreement
All three ideas have exactly the same purpose, which is to put a legal obligation on the European Union to provide Theresa May with a trade agreement conforming to her personal prejudice.
This is the problem when you send a bone dead racist to do international negotiations. Theresa May has fixed it in her head that Europeans are stupid, and it doesn't compute for her every time they outwit her.

 Assumption 2: The German auto industry has sufficient clout to sway the government of Germany into very publicly reversing its current position (put forth at Chancellor level).

I’m not convinced it is in May’s interest to bring a withdrawal agreement to Parliament until right at the death. December, for eg, still leaves 3 months for people to tantrum and pick it apart. No deal’ll need to be imminent, and terrifying, to focus the minds of MPs.
(This of course is not ideal for business certainty and will lead to contingency plans being triggered, but then again, long-term certainty is a long way off in any event.)
And still waiting for ERG lot to realise

a) nothing in declaration on future relationship is legally binding so all they need to do is get Brexit over the line then can re-open fight
b) a NI-specific backstop is perhaps their best chance of getting a basic FTA w/ EU in long-run

It was the best in 65 years as of a month ago, but not anymore. It's now the best in 18 years.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.

1. A few thoughts about Bernie and #TrumpRussia. Firstly, we don't know whether Bernie or those in his campaign were actively involved.
2. We simply don't have the evidence to make that determination one way or the other right now. This may change, or it may not.
3. What we do know is that Russians used Bernie & his campaign as part of a coordinated effort to undermine the 2016 elections.
