Theresa May has three equally stupid ideas about the backstop.

1. Make it temporary

2. Unliateral exit (which is actually Numer 1 again but in a different wig)

3. Replace a backstop with a full trade agreement
All three ideas have exactly the same purpose, which is to put a legal obligation on the European Union to provide Theresa May with a trade agreement conforming to her personal prejudice.
This is the problem when you send a bone dead racist to do international negotiations. Theresa May has fixed it in her head that Europeans are stupid, and it doesn't compute for her every time they outwit her.

We all know there's going to be a general election. For fuck sake, you don't get any points for that.
What we have to figure out is when.
I wonder if we can. With no inside knowledge whatsoever, never having met a journalist or politician in real life, if we can figure out when the general election is going to be.
Theresa May is like a ping pong ball at the moment, back and forth, back and forth between Europe and parliament. Neither side willing to give.

Fridays? You know Fridays, all the MPs are away in their own constituency.

That's why parliament doesn't pass laws on a fucking Friday
I think it would be far better for everyone if parliament was shut on a Friday. Because week after week after fucking week you all get your knickers in a twist about some fucking private members bill
You are fucking unteachable. You can't have half a dozen MPs voting laws through when no one else is there.
No matter what moral crusade it might concern. You daft fuckers.

Parliament should be closed on a Friday.
Most MPs are back in their constituency on Fridays, and you can't start passing laws when there's only a dozen MPs in the House.
Nothing much can happen on a Friday because there's hardly anyone there. But twitter just does not understand that.
Every fucking week. Week after fucking week twitter gets its knickers in a twist because some private member's bill got blocked on a Friday
I've told people this so many times. Parliament does not pass laws on a Friday, and the best thing is if people just ignore it because all they do is get themselves upset.

If she really believes her negotiations are that Strong and Stable, she should stop this embarrassing political circus and openly go for her No-Deal #Brexit plan, instead of sneakily engineering it.

✔ No hard border (#GoodFridayAgreement)
❌ No customs unions
❌ No single market
❌ No freedom of movement
The EU wanted a soft #Brexit. So no Backstop. 3/10

I wish I could scream this from every rooftop.

Are parts of social media bad? Yup. Do ppl use it in unhealthy ways? Absolutely. Do I have any other way to have a social life, some semblance of mental health, a concept that I'm a valuable human despite the bigotry I face, etc?
No. If I didn't have the internet/social media, I'd be the same depressed, miserable, self-hating black disgaybled I was throughout most of high school AND I wouldn't have any friends. I'd be stuck in a bigoted world with right wing parents & completely isolated.

Without finding a community on social media, I'd probably be dead. I wou never been taught that I have rights & value just the way I am and I would've never stood up against the treatment I endured. My self-esteem would still be in a flaming dumpster.

Extend Art.50 (so No Deal remains live);
Call a 2nd referendum (she doubts it’ll win)*

* Though she doesn't completely rule out the possibility of Parliament bringing this forward.

Take lessons from her mistakes in these negotiations when it comes to negotiating the future relationship.
She’ll be more inclusive: ‘engaging’ with elected reps from NI (and [randomly] English regions), & businesses & other normal people.

Trade was "extremely important" for 25% of voters, or 11th most important of 12 issues. Only Russia was lower.
Trade was extremely or very important for 61% of voters, at 10th place - below Kavanaugh and above climate change/Russia.

This confirms my intuition. Trade can't be completely disregarded as an issue, but neither should it occupy pride of place. For a decent chunk of voters, it's something they feel passionately about. For a majority of voters, it's something they follow.
Politicians like Sherrod Brown - who do well in Midwestern swing states - emphasize their populist bonafides on the issue.
