This is an excellent sign! The liberals are now setting a narrative that former Presidents have to be prosecuted for their crimes. That letting Nixon get away with it lead to 50 years of partisanship in DC! Once this sets in, it will be hard to not back prosecuting Obama.
Trump & have spent years carefully maneuvering the Democrats to support EVERY position needed to prosecute misconduct of the Obama Admin & the Swamp. After spending years calling collusion Treason, they can't say it was OK when Obama & Hillary did it. Alibis are slipping away.
Now liberals are arguing that pardons to allow a President to escape prosecution are a bad idea. Which will matter when Obama is indicted. They can't flip flop back, not without losing the moderates for a generation. Trump waves the red flag & the Dems charge blindly! #ToroToro

Good article on the Manafort hearing transcript. The spin on this was that Manafort was lying to Mueller to avoid admissions that would end any chance of a Trump pardon. But @emptywheel has recognized that M&G sharing this info w their Russian friends was a betrayal of Trump.
This is the first time I have seen a liberal blogger or threader figure this out. Manafort betrayed Trump for his Russian friends. How long until they figure out the entire reason Manafort joined Trump was in order to betray him while framing him for his Russians friends?
What happens when they realize that Manafort is actively exposing himself to more jail time to avoid admitting he betrayed Trump? Why is is so important that Manafort not confirm he was working against Trump for Deripaska the entire time?

Important reminder in this John Solomon article! Recognize that these are abuses Mueller inherited not proof he was dirty. He threatened to resign in 2004 to try & shut these abusive programs down.
There is an early 2002 opinion on some cases that the FBI informed the FIS court about in 2000. One case is especially relevant. The FBI failed to disclosed that the target of the FISA was an FBI asset at a previous time.
The FBI/DOJ also failed to disclose that the target of the FISA had met with an Assistant US Attorney. So what if the FBI failed to inform the FIS Court of it's prior relationship with @carterwpage & his meetings with AUSAs? fas.org/irp/agency/doj…

I love how the left gets excited by the Trump Inauguration committee cases because it has Trump's name on it! They have no clue it was serving as a honeypot for Swamp creatures trying to buy access to the new administration.

They miss the fact that they were so desperate to buy access to Trump, because decades of buying access to the Clintons had just been found to be wasted money! What the left misses about these meetings is way more interesting than what they notice about them.#ButNothingsHappening
It's so weird they don't get it! The meetings mostly involve people who spent years making payments to the Clintons & Obamas. They took place AFTER Adm Rogers allegedly warned the Trump team about wiretaps on the Trump Tower. They took place before Trump tweeted about wiretaps.

I'm not going to tell you what your expectations should be. If you're benchmarking the program against any B1G program not named Ohio State, Michigan is in a great place. If you're comparing Michigan and Ohio State, it's a very depressing situation on all (on-field) levels.
No matter what you use as your gauge of success, every reasonable measure would be reached if Michigan was competitive with Ohio State. Rivalry game performance? B1G title game appearances? CFP appearances? All of those boxes get checked if Michigan just splits with Ohio State.

I can tell you, from my little corner of the world, the harassment and threats have been near constant and shockingly intense. I cannot imagine what it's like for Obama, the Clintons, or even Soros. The animus being directed at them has to be incredible. 2/
This hate and this scapegoating is all for political purposes. They know they're peddling dangerous rhetoric in an effort for power, but they've played with the fire for so long now they're going to inspire countless murders. 3/
