A short story of fun fishy trash talk among #NichollsBiology faculty and an early #SundayFishSketch 1/
2/ I had my #NichollsFish students examine and sketch a random group of fishes a couple weeks ago. One group had a sturgeon, so they sketched it accordingly:
3/ Next lecture, I notice some additional/comparative text below their illustration; clearly aimed at #GarLab. Suspect: our new marine biology prof studied sturgeon and shares the classroom🤔
4/ I of course fix the comparison to more accurately reflect the facts:
5/ Today I come to #NichollsFish class and find quite a few new additions to our “illustrative debate”
6/ This misinformation of course cannot and will not be tolerated, so again, the board is adjusted accordingly. Note that they asked “Where is the gar drawing?”
7/7 and finally brings me to my early #SundayFishSketch to put this to rest. Cartilaginous chondrosteans got nothing on ganoid gars.

The DC Circuit did not specify that the GJ subpoena was issued by the SC. The recusal of a Trump-appointed judge early in the case, as well as SC attorneys seen in the vicinity of the DC courthouse on the days of sealed hearings in the case, point to a Mueller link in the case.
Mueller’s team sought “information” from the company related to an “an act outside the territory of the United States in connection with a commercial activity of the foreign state elsewhere” and that the “act caused a direct effect in the United States.”

tangential to my long-winded complaining about other hobbies I don't actually want to spend time on: i don't want to program videogames. i've complained about this countless times but as i said earlier, I lose interest "involuntarily" but also because it's 300 hours of work
yeah the tools suck shit. yeah they should be better. i'm also unwilling to spend weeks not talking to my girlfriend or watching youtube videos or cooking dinner because i'm busy writing routines to make a door animation play
it's too much time and I don't want to do it. The tools I realize I want are not better programming tools. Those would help many people, but not me. What I want is RPG Maker But Other Genres.

(THREAD) MAJOR BREAKING NEWS: Mike Flynn will plead guilty to Making False Statements at 10:30 AM EST today (Friday). This is the biggest development in the Russia probe so far. This thread explains what it all means, and will be updated throughout the day. Please read and share.
1/ First, it's important to understand that Mueller has entered into a plea deal with Flynn in which Flynn pleads guilty to far less than the available evidence suggests he could be charged with. This indicates that he has cut a deal with Mueller to cooperate in the Russia probe.
2/ We've already seen Mueller do this once before in the probe, with George Papadopoulos—who was charged with the same crime as Flynn, Making False Statements, to secure his cooperation with the Russia probe. The Papadopoulos plea affidavit emphasized facts were being left out.
