There are, at least, 19 credible claims of sexual assault by President Trump & he admitted to regularly sexually assaulting women on TV. Mainstream media ignores this because they know Republican leadership doesn’t care about sexual assault. That is poor excuse for what to cover.
Democratic Leadership does care about sexual assault so credible accusations against Democratic politicians are covered by mainstream media in detail. Media should always cover sexual assault allegations, for both parties, regardless of whether party cares about it.
We care about ethical & moral failings of our leaders because of their ability to lead, but it also translates into policy. Republicans blocking renewal of critical Violence Against Women Act & fighting for domestic abusers to keep guns. Behavior of leaders translates into policy

(1) Business: Trump Org. has admitted that they were working w/ Russian government to build a Trump Tower in Russia up until the election. (2) Political: Trump Campaign Chair provided internal polling to Russia & met w/ Russian agents about trafficking docs stolen from Democrats.

President Trump is remarkably bad at negotiating.
President Trump's negotiating tactic of lying about what he has & will deliver, making deal, taking the money, declaring bankruptcy: only works if you keep negotiating w/ new people. In politics you need to negotiate with same people over and over, so this tactic does not work.
Also, President Trump is (1) least informed person in any political negotiation (2) does not really care about the outcome (3) has zero patience (4) continuously boxes himself in with public statements (5) personally corrupt, so easily manipulated.

Prediction (my subjective prob 20%): President Trump fundraises $100's of millions and then drops out w/in two months of the Republican Convention declaring he has already won. Rationale: Democrats/Justice will turn down heat on investigations if he drops and he will control $$$
Americans hate looking back: seems reasonable to assume investigations will be way less thorough & punishments way less punitive if President Trump steps down. By staying in until near the end, Trump will control tons of money and fate of Republicans, so they will protect him.
Democrats/Justice should signal that they will investigate Trump (camp, trans, inaug, admin, org, found) thoroughly regardless of Donald Trump's job. And, Republicans/Democrats should all prepare for possibility of campaign without Trump. Again, subjective prop: 20%.

This morning, the President said it is up to Dr. Blasey Ford to convince him she is telling the truth. That is preposterous. Her story is credible: it is rich in remembered detail, corresponds to facts that are known, and was told to others years before.
