Amy Berman Jackson, the judge in Roger Stone case, was also judge in Marie Colvin case in which plaintiffs sued Syrian government. Which had other pressing business e.g. fighting AlQaeda and ISIS and didnt defend US lawfare. Her reasoning on evidence will please Mueller thugs
/ Colvin died in a rocket attack on insurgent zone Baba Amr, an area in Homs. The plaintiffs claimed that this was a targeted assassination of Colvin, rather than an unfortunate war incident. For an articulate argument against plaintiff's theory in 2016 joshualandis.com/blog/marie-col…
/ however, rather than hearing evidence, Judge Amy ruled that plaintiffs’ brief was so comprehensive that an evidentiary hearing, in which a judge hears testimony and documentary evidence from both sides can be reviewed, was not necessary
/ exactly the sort of judge that Mueller likes. One who is so impressed by a "comprehensive" prosecution brief that she doesn't even need to hear the defense.
/ in her decision, judge ABJ cited a 2016 DC precedent which also held that "no evidentiary hearing [was] necessary" in another case against Syrian government. Judge in that case was another Mueller favorite: Beryl Howell, who's made rulings re both Papadopoulos and Stone.
/ in the case decided by Beryl Howell, the plaintiffs lost a relative in an AlQaeda attack in Jordan. So they sued Syria, claiming that it was a sponsor of AlQaeda. Ignoring the fact that Syria has been battling AlQaeda for years and has lost thousands of citizens to AlQaeda.
/ Syria effort to eradicate AlQaeda is made much more difficult by US and Gulf State supply of weapons and finance to AlQaeda and allies. Even worse, Trump admin recently declared that AlQaeda enclave in Idlib was under US protection, thwarting planned Syrian campaign against AQ
/ Colvin case also marred by evidentiary errors. Plaintiffs said that Colvin was transported from Lebanese border to Homs by FSA and a "pacifist". In fact, they were escorted by Faruq Brigade, one of most brutal jihadi factions, which held Baba Amr

/ One of the Faruq Brigade commanders in Baba Amr was Khalid al Hamad aka Abu Saqqar/Sakkar. Abu Sakkar later became notorious as star of a video in which he ate the heart of a murdered Syrian soldier.

/ rather than Colvin's hosts being the anodyne pacifists represented in lawsuit, they were among the worst takfiris in Syria. The 2016 article at Landis' blog refutes many other assertions by Judge Amy's plaintiffs

/ @MoonofA wrote blog post in Sep 2012 moonofalabama.org/2012/09/the-ch… on Farouq Brigade, discussing a recent video report on faction  channel4.com/news/video-exc…
/ Farouq Brigade were reported to have participated in the notorious slaughter of Christians in Maaloula acloserlookonsyria.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Assault_o…, in which two videos cited
/ however, in the DC courts of Amy Berman Jackson and Beryl Howell, "evidentiary hearings" are unnecessary. All that's needed are affidavits from the plaintiffs against Syrian government. No wonder Mueller likes to charge people in DC courts.
