If you probe deeper, you will throw away PDP and that umbrella you are parading because you are sitting we are sitting on a mess created by the same PDP.

The Apapa port was built in 1914, 200 hectares of land to handle 35million metric tonnes of cargo.

As at today the port process 90 million tonnes in an import dependent country. Asides that, most of the containers are physically inspected because successive government failed to invest heavily in equipments and scanners. This is a major reason for port congestion..

Second reason, why must every cargo arrive at the Lagos port. You as a member of PDP, have you asked your party why they failed to dredge other ports in the country to accommodate large vessels why they were in power for 16 years?

You think truck owners are happy that trucks that should bring in daily income are parked for weeks on a road? You think the owners of the goods are also happy?

Ask yourself and your party why the rail track from the port was abandoned for years. If we had functional rail lines

The trucks will not be on the road. How many trains left the apapa port with cargoes in 16 years of PDP? Oh Nigeria wasn't rich enough then to build single gauge track from the port to various industrial hubs and dry ports..under your umbrella party..

What happened to the road leading to the port? Please tell me how many km was constructed by that useless umbrella party from the port a major revenue generating center in 16 years.

The trailers can't even access the port..

To solve this problem, Buhari has repaired failed sections of the marine bridge Apapa, concession the Apapa wharf road the AG Dangote and flour mills. The roads are under construction.

As a senatorial aspirant, you obviously feel the trailers can be asked to leave the road, to where exactly?

No modern trailer parks except those in Lagos - Ibadan expressway. Do want them to put the trailers on their heads and walk to the port? If the FG chase them away for days, how will we cope with fuel scarcity? How will petroleum products leave the port?

The igbo traders in Ladipo and Alaba that you want to represent, will they carry their containers on their heads from the port. Don't you think we are all victims of the failed years..

I understand your ambition and sincerity to represent your people but drop that umbrella bro..

If we had done the necessary things all these while, we won't be in this mess. Simple things..

1. Dredge other ports
2. Rail to move cargo
3. Access roads to apapa port
4. Scanners to speed up inspection

There is no issue on this list that Buhari is not tackling..

Say the truth always it may not affect your chances..If we actually want to change this country, we need to discuss issues.

PDP had the chance to solve the problem, Tinubu screamed at the FG to solve the problem, he even towed the trailers, NUPENG threatened him, he left them..

Fashola faced the battle, he didn't win. What do you think you can do as a senator that Tinubu and Fashola did not try..
