No one is preventing lily from being part of society, & slurring & misrepresenting the views of women who acknowledge the harms of instilling metaphysical beliefs into law doesn't change that fact.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Since the women defending women's sex-based rights oppose the sex-based social stereotypes that comprise gender (which trans activists hope to legislatively conflate w/the legal definition of sex) , claiming that we're trying to impose them on trans-IDd people is a lie.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Using statistics provided by trans rights orgs, it has been demonstrated that trans-IDd males in the West actually have lower murder rates per capita than avg. males, & that they are more related to race & economic status than gender identity. All violence is abhorrent.

Lesbians are saying that trans-identified males sexually harass lesbians & subject them to homophobic slurs & threats of violence for their unwillingness to submit sexually to them on the basis of how they "identify."

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Gays, lesbians, gender non-conforming persons -those who defy sex-roles -all face marginalization. Creating a legal fiction that some of them are *really* a different sex does nothing more than reify the social expectations that create the problem in the first place.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn These same legal fictions do nothing to confront actual problem, but instead, dismantle the sex-based rights/protections/programs of women, who are disproportionately at risk for sexual assault by males, & already underrepresented in the public sphere.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Women & girls, because of our female bodies & the differential treatment we receive because of them, have specific needs that differ from those of males -regardless of how they ID. Male-pattern violence does not go away when a male "identifies" as a woman. The risks are the same.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Girls & women are still disadvantaged from centuries of being denied equal opportunity which continues to this day. Legally conflating sex w/gender identity renders sex discrimination laws meaningless, for if gender ID ="female," sex becomes irrelevant.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn We have already seen many positions created for women specifically to mitigate their historical under representation filled by males. In the UK, trans ID males occupy "Women's officer" slots, & in the US & elsewhere, women's sport competitions are being dominated by males.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn If trans-IDd males are subjected to discrimination or are in need of protection for their basic rights, create laws that provide for their specific needs rather than dismantling women's rights & protections with the creation of a legal fiction.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn Male "trans allies" devote so much time brow-beating women into declaring that trans-IDd males are "really women,"& into surrendering our spaces, but they spend no time, effort or $$ trying to create the specific resources that would provide for those they claim to support.

@ElleBeeG @lilyvonpsudonym @bettydooda @JesseThorn It is not the responsibility of women to surrender their meager resources & protections or their own safety in order to protect trans-identified males from other males. Rather than taking away the rights of women, demand better from men.
