• 1,088 complaints lodged
• 433 relate to non-Labour members
• 96 members suspended
• 146 written warning
• 211 served notice of investigation
• 220 had insufficient evidence

• 44 quit Labour pending hearing
• 42 referred to higher NCC hearing
• 16 given formal warning
• 6 referred for further investigation
• 25 served a reminder of conduct
• 7 exonerated

• 5 quit pending hearing

• 218 exonerated or cases dropped due to lack of evidence

So what can we say about antisemitism in Labour?

• 99.9% of Labour members have never been accused of antisemitism
• This doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem
• 620+ have been accused of antisemitism
• Evidence exists that up to 400 Labour members expressed antisemitic views

What can we say about how the Labour Party has dealt with 600+ accused of antisemtismm.

• About a quarter have been suspended, expelled or left
• About a third have been cleared
• About a third have been warned of future behaviour

There is clear evidence of antisemitism in the Labour Party. Evidence that it has existed since at least 1982. And it shows no signs of ending. 380+ cases of antisemitism in Labour have emerged in the last 9 months. Not a smear, or a plot but a real social ill we're now tackling

The prevalence of antisemitism in Labour matches something we are seeing in wider UK society, for lots of reasons. It is a real & present problem. Jennie Formby's actions (detailed here: scribd.com/document/39896…) give us our best hope of getting on top of this social evil in years

Jennie Formby has just replied to the PLP Letter received last night accusing her of understating antisemitism cases. Evidence offered by 1 MP was they’d sent evidence of 200 people alone. This MP had not. The 200 referred to 111 people of whom 20 were members. Jennie was right

This entire week long exploration into what Labour is now doing about antisemitism has revealed 2 things:

• Antisemitism remains an issue. MPs were correct to raise this.
• Jennie Formby has dramatically overhauled Labour’s investigating & recording practices into Antisemitism
