Manafort is key nexus on Collusion between Trump campaign and Russia. Open questions of Quid pro quo, Ukraine peace deal negotiations, russia sanctions, polling data, debts leading to compromise. He lied & in turn faces life in prison. Why?
If he lied in hopes for a pardon, then Mueller report comes out with Collusion connections, President Trump would have a lot of explaining to do if he pardoned.
