NOBODY IS SHOCKED THAT JEFF SESSIONS IS RACIST. There are just people KNEW that and people do DIDN'T CARE to know that.
Remember that time when the NAACP did a sit-in and got people ARRESTED to protest Jeff Sessions's nomination? Remember that time when John Lewis blasted him on the record. Remember that time when the ENTIRE Congressional black caucus tried to stop his nomination?
We knew, We always knew. NOBODY EVER LISTENS TO US.

NOW, McCabe writes "oh, damn, this guy is racist" and everybody is like "Whaaa?? Wow, McCabe is really telling all."

So, my senior year of high school I moved to Indiana for my senior year. At the new school, seniors got their own parking spots and could paint it however they wished.

In my randomly assigned spot, the previous senior had painted it with the Confederate flag.
People didn't notice this would be a problem until I showed up and then *everybody* noticed it would be a problem.

It was quickly repainted. Not even by me. But by members of the football team which I had been practicing with a little bit over the summer.
I tell this story now because I notice how the #RalphNortham conversation isn't really focused on the harm he caused to his classmates in real time. There were black people in his school in 1984. And 1985, and 86 and so on. Imagine what they must have thought.

Did @SavannahGuthrie interview Trayvon Martin? No, he was too dead to go on the Nick Sandmann rehabilitation tour. It's cool though, because Sandmann told Guthrie he was standing his ground.

Not slamming Haake b/c he's just reporting what he's hearing from Republicans but:
A: It's not "almost" it "IS" a banana republic move.
B: Which makes it not a "solution" so much as a DIRECT THREAT TO DEMOCRACY
C: You can't get the ball rolling by shooting the ball!
D: I really need people to stop acting like suspending SELF GOVERNMENT so @realDonasTrump can save face on his stupid vanity project is "one option among many."
