The fact that this election was postponed is just so wrong, the corpers that INEC unnecessarily stressed, the small businesses that have invested around today, nigerians that travelled and risked their life's, even political parties and candidates
Parties and candidates now have to spend extra one week in terms of planning and continuing campaign, these things cost money especially if you're a presidential candidate that your party doesn't control any state or any kind of public purse,
No matter how rich you are, spending in every state of the country, in every local government and ward for extra one is seriously expensive, how can candidates that have no(or have never had) access to public funds cope and continue in this race?
So the laws on campaign spending would EFCC, DEAR, ICPC and INEC still want to enforce it? seeing that this postponement might lead some to overspend and technically it wouldn't necessarily be their fault except they being indirectly told to abandon their campaign
Because the postponement might lead to the candidates crossing the spending threshold.
