Note to people thinking that this 👇 just sounds crazy.
-Which I understand. It does seem very unlikely, I'm not contesting that.
The thing is, that "silly theory" has just been endorsed and promoted by Steve Baker.
Last time that guy had a plan, it was called "let's break the spending limits" -and it did happen.
Please note this "fascinating suggestion" has been his dream for quite a few years now.
Tho I do trust that Mr Baker would be fully aware of the "Will of the IEA/TPA/ASI/Singham/TommyRobinson funders" and be glad to push the relevant propaganda to achieve the desired outcome (ie "let's not just deregulate the UK, but all Europe instead!")

So apparently MPs can only be deemed unfit for their job (whether they deserve it or not) if they do not abide by Vova's Will.

1) I like how they included an excuse for why he paid them money, clearly setting up the defense here.

2) This possibility would be a lot more believable if he hadn’t blatantly lied about details of the attack and tried to pawn it off on others.
As I said earlier today, there are possibilities here based on the public evidence. The testimony of the 2 individuals, the money, and behavior of Smollett make 1 seem very unlikely:
I guess Smollett’s lawyers have to do what they have to do, but no one should take this spin seriously.

His behavior has been despicable and has harmed real victims. He is not one.

My lukewarm #EUCO take. Cancelling/not having the November summit makes it seem very unlikely that, as some had thought, last weekend was all a piece of theatre to make it look like May had put up a hard fight before she caves. 1/
EU wants a deal, but the distance between UK&EU on IE/NI border is still apparently great, and EU27 cannot confidently predict that it will be resolved, along with some sort of Political Declaration, by a November summit. 2/
Add to that May's doubling down on the very issues that present the biggest obstacle - defining checks on goods as the marker for constitutional integrity, insisting on a time limit, backstop to backstop etc - in the HoC on Monday. 3/

Election trouble in Shelby County, thread...these are our experiences on the first day of EV...we're still trying to figure out what happened.
Within 20 minutes of polls opening in Shelby County we learned that Harvest Church in Bartlett's machines weren't working and they told people to leave...eventually they got one back up after people had already left (1)
Panic ensued as more reports came in of polling places with downed machines from Memphis to Collierville. We believe a large number of the ipad's used to verify voters before they can vote did not get an important update and so they were not connecting to the server (2)

Every now and then I get asked "When should a conversation with someone turn into a paid consulting session? How do I make that shift?"

I'll try to give some thoughts on this now, it's a very complex topic.
The problem can come from two angles:

- You get approached with requests a lot (for example, someone asking your advice) and it is starting to feel like work.
- You approach someone with requests and you have money and wonder when you should start paying for their help.
One way to approach it is: "If a stranger *expects* a service of me, then I should be paid."

If it's not paid I may still help, but: I can cancel, I can not respond at all, I can not put much effort into it, it fits in with my other priorities and schedule, no hard expectations.
