There are more questions than answers re: #JussieSmollett in light of the CPD’s arrest & bond document. At this point, they should release all of the materials. And this is a also a lesson on quick & uncritical media reporting. 1/
Why did the CPD leak that Jussie waited 40 minutes to call the police? Sources close to Jussie say 911 was called immediately. There is only one right answer here.

Why did the CPD leak that there was no video of anything, initially? Then we see that they suddenly did find some video. Sources close to Jussie say there is video of him in Subway, walking down the street, and in the condo building.

Jussie has said that he was on the phone with his manager at the time of the attack. Either he was or he wasn’t.

CPD definitively said the texts proved a set up between Jussie and the brothers. Now, apparently that is not the case. 5/
CPD suggested that the letter was a hoax. The FBI leaked that CPD got ahead of itself. Why would CPD comment on an investigation led by the FBI? 6/
Why did someone leak that Jussie’s ribs were broken? It was never Jussie’s account that his ribs were broken and an account of broken ribs were not known to be in any official documents. 7/
Where did the narrative of a red hat come from? It appears that someone has added this “red hat” piece to the story but sources close to Jussie say that never reported a red hat.

Also, it is who a rumor that Jussie was indicted by the grand jury. He *has not* been indicted by a grand jury at this time. FYI.
