Reminder: the EU made a comprehensive offer on the rights of UK citizens in the EU, and EU citizens in the UK, back in June 2017. Theresa May turned it down instantly because of ECJ arbitration, even though it would have guaranteed the same rights as now.

At the same time, Theresa May was refusing to rule out using them as bargaining chips (though she strongly opposed that expression) as early as July 2016, i.e. mere days after the Brexit vote.

With less than 30 days left until Brexit Day, it’s time to have a proper grown-up, open, honest conversation about Brexit. At the moment, Brexit Day is 29 March 2019. On that day, we will leave the EU at 11pm UK time. Our departure will be abrupt.
At 10:59pm, we’ll still be in the EU. One minute later, we’ll be out.

The timing of Brexit Day is the result of having triggered Article 50 when we did. Article 50 is a legal process that gives a country exactly two years to work out how to leave the EU.
Brexit is happening on Theresa May's schedule. Back in March 2017, she chose to trigger Article 50 & set the clock ticking.

What happens on Brexit Day? Well, the UK will no longer be subject to any of the EU's hundreds of international treaties, arrangements & trade agreements.

A) If Brexit will happen on 29 March
B) If we will have a deal
C) If the Labour party will survive
D) If the Tory party will survive
E) How to stop (not delay) no-deal
F) Whether necessary SIs can be passed in time
G) Whether the EU will allow an A50 extension
H) Whether we have to take part in the European elections in May
I) What Jeremy Corbyn's own definitive cast-iron position is on 2nd referendum
K) What the second "Brexit" in "Brexit means Brexit" means
I) What the ERG are thinking?!?
But we do know Brexit's already causing massive damage...

So, these 20 fine people voted against Yvette Cooper's amendment, which exactly mirrored Theresa May's own pledge yesterday. The stormtroopers of the ERG emerge...
Another 88 abstensions too, mainly ERG types. Theresa May's far from out of the woods.
So that's just over a hundred country-wreckers we have to contend with. Not a huge force compared to 650 MPs, but a big chunk of the Tory Party. We can expect them to keep pulling Theresa May's strings like the puppet she is.

They like each other and think their crushes are secret, having absolutely no idea that they've already confessed to each other. Seokjin hears it in Yoongi's thoughts, and Yoongi hears it from Seokjin's own mouth bc Seokjin confides in him when he thinks he's just a stray cat.
Seokjin is used to hearing compliments from people wherever he goes. Over the years, he's managed to control his power enough that he /can/ block someone's mind so that he's not able to hear them anymore. But sometimes it's harder to get the job done, especially among crowds.

I often agree with @EuroBriefing as I think he & colleagues offer some of the best insights on European politics. But the below is just unthinkable. Were the UK to unilaterally revoke Art.50, I'd bet a case would be put before the ECJ to stop this from happening.
Say UK stays in the #EU under Corbyn with the clear plan of triggering #Article50 a little down the line. What would a good EU lawyer do? She (because, let's face it, it would be a she 😉) would advice the EU institutions to bring the #UK before the #ECJ.
Why? Because, as a member-state, the UK would have breached Article 4 of the Treaty on European Union (TEU) which lays down something very boring called the "principle of sincere co-operation" between the EU member-states and the EU itself.

A key argument against cancelling Article 50 is that it would encourage EU governments to trigger "tactical" exits and withdraw them whenever they like. Supporters say it is purely "hypothetical" and shouldn't stop ECJ judges ruling in their favour

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully

Complaints were then made to my MP #VinceCable. He liaised with the #Metpolice & #LBRUT. And then weeks later, the search warrant was completely changed & was passed off as the search warrant executed on the day of the raids.
