2/7 JVL leader Mike Cushman, who @CST_UK profiled for his antisemitic conspiracy theories, also called it ‘madness’ 
3/7 This isn’t the first time JVL have come out in support of Williamson. They wrote a call to action defending him after students boycotted him because of his track record of enabling antisemitism
4/7 JVL also came out in defence of both Williamson and Holocaust denier Gilad Atzmon, after Williamson signed a petition supporting him
5/7 After @jeremycorbyn claimed Williamson wasn’t antisemitic, JVL member David Rosenberg also defended him, instead preferring to attack @JewishLabour
6/7 And JVL leaders Rosenhead and Idrissi, both known for abusing the Holocaust, also defended Williamson from claims of antisemitis. They cast him as a victim who’d been ‘singled out’. Instead they attacked Jewish MP Ruth Smeeth
7/7 This is precisely why JVL were created. To protect antisemites and attack people complaining about antisemitism. Far from representing the Jewish community, they are widely reviled for propping up antisemitism on behalf of the labour leadership
