It’s nothing. They should be imprisoned for life, for gross negligence on a species level.
I say that not because I think they’ll actually be imprisoned, but to underscore the fact that the entire party needs to be demolished, and nobody currently affiliated with it should ever again be trusted with another decision more consequential than “paper or plastic.”
I’m not interested in praising the baby steps of moral and intellectual cowards for running to the lifeboats AFTER the ship hit the iceberg, especially not in service of keeping them in positions of power.

The incuriosity is deliberate.

If you started talking particulars, suddenly we aren't into value-free distinctions like what your preferred season is.

This is something that someone writes when they have no values or principles beyond their own comfort.

My main thought about complaints issuing from the right about the left is, fuck the right and their complaints, they have entirely ceded their moral authority and we should expect and welcome their criticism but never cater to it.
Hopefully this is direct enough.
I am open to debate with people of good faith and criticism from different perspectives, but I’m going to base exactly 0 of my moral decisions on what someone who is still with the Republican Party thinks is right or wrong, thanks.

ROMA was, in my opinion, pretty good. ⭐⭐⭐1/2
I will say that some movies have the ability to grow after the first impression, and this feels like one of those.
And, there's so much I love about it, and only one thing that I think was a real misstep, which is the rather unlikely coincidence of SPOILER being the one to SPOILER right before our main character's SPOILER SPOILERs in what I suppose I'll call the department store scene.

Monday I made a decision I should have made in 2016: I will no longer engage people deliberately lying about anything, be it me, the election, the events of 2016, Trump.

I think it's so funny the moves made by my pd. It's clear as day, and the egregiousness, collusion, violating many rights, outburts in court, lies, gaslighting, and goading even, dude...I got all the emails. Video.
And what judge allows that? My fault somehow, right? Brady Rule, for my own stuff? MP clearly grandstander, put on an act, went way off kilter, lied, slammed papers, it was unhinged, down to misquoting case law.
Seriously, 1.5 yr old subpoenas too. And he allowed it all. This is a shitshow. The Brady Rule, you see that the key. I used it during an investigation that the PD not only knew about, took steps to collude with, knowingly acted against my best interests.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
