Carmen Lamela is the Spanish High Court judge who, in the absence of ETA, sees terrorism everywhere. It's her unhealthy obsession.

Below are 3 recent cases where she insisted on charges of terrorism which were ultimately rejected in court.

⚖After a demonstration in Pamplona, Navarre, in May '17, Lamela considered that the public disorder constituted terrorism and the public prosecutor asked for 7 yrs.

⚖The High Court rejected the terrorism charges sentencing the 4 youths to 2 yrs for public order offences.

⚖Lamela jailed Nahuel, 25, & 5 members of an anarcho-vegan collective for membership of a terrorist organisation.

⚖After 16 months in 5 prisons (special vigilance), prosecutor went with 2 yrs for "glorification of terrorism" for messages like "Goku lives; the fight goes on"

⚖As judge investigating a bar brawl involving local youths (19-24 yrs old) and off-duty police and their partners in #Alsasua, Navarre.

⚖Lamela charged 9 with terrorism, bodily harm, disobedience and public order offences. 7 were jailed pre-trial, 3 for almost 2 yrs.

⚖️The verdict ruled out Lamela's terrorism charge, but the #Altsasu youths were found guilty of the lesser charges of assault causing bodily harm public order offences and threats.

⚖️They were sentenced to 2-13 years imprisonment.
