1. Wow, lots of responses to this tweet👇👇 However, after reading all the comments (some were right, some were funny & some were lol moments), there was 1answer never given. This list of sins highlights the seven main reasons why socialism/Marxism fails every time it's attempted
2. These sum up the "bad side" of human nature. The side of human nature that never enters the calculations of the socialists as they dream of Utopia. They wrongly think that these can be easily wiped from society. That this side of human nature is "plastic" and can be shaped.
3. It is only later that the socialists/ Marxists start to understand these traits are not only not plastic but also many of their policies actively promote the growth of this bad side of human nature.
4. It is when this fact becomes impossible to ignore that the killing fields, gulags and reeducation camps come into play. It's when brothers spy on brothers and sons turn in fathers. It's when the secret police are given more and more power and people start to disappear.
5. This part of the human equation like all parts of human nature is not plastic. It has been with us for thousands and thousands of years. Never changing. It will be with us for thousands of more.
6. Many of the reasons for the formation of the US government as it did was to find an answer and counter to this side of human nature. The founders understood you couldn't wipe it out or ignore it , to do so would invite ruin like so many governments before us.
7. So they crafted the US Constitution in a way they blunted those traits. They made those traits work against each other instead of compounding each other. Checks and balances if you will.
8. Socialists don't think that way. They don't blame humans as a group for those seven deadly sins. To them the poor/workers are "holy"; it's only the rich, powerful, capitalists, or this or that group that exhibit those traits & if you get rid of them Utopia can be attained.
9. This sets them up for failure after failure.

10. It's not the rich or the poor or the middle class, it's not one race or the other that practice these sins daily. It's not males nor females. It's not children nor adults. It's all of humanity. Every last one of us.
11. We can strive to be better, we can ask for forgiveness, we can attempt to live a righteous life but we can not hide from the fact that we are all susceptible to these sins on any given day at any given time.
12. As the saying goes "to err (sin) is human, to forgive is divine".

13. No matter what the socialists do, no matter how many laws they pass, no matter how many people they censor and/or kill; this central truth will never change and thus socialism will always fail.
14. If we were all good there would be no need for government but since we aren't government is a necessary evil. Many forget the necessary part, many others forget the evil part. Government can not change human nature since it's a creation of humanity it shares their nature.
15. Further, because of the inherent power granted to government the bigger it grows the bigger the temptation grows to give into those seven deadly sins of human nature and the quicker hell on Earth is created.
16. Its kind of amazing to think that people in the 1700's understood this more fully than people living in 2019. Maybe it has something to do with having to interact in person with people daily instead of through modern technology.
17. I hope this made some look at things a bit differently but as always think as you will, do your own research/learning and draw your own conclusions. End/
