Rep. @IlhanMN's grandfather was a big shot up thru 1991 under Siad Barre's dictatorship in Somalia. Siad Barre was a Fascist under Italy in 1930s, a Marxist-Leninist in 1960s. But then he invaded Marxist-Leninist Ethiopia in 1977 and USSR abandoned him, so he switched to USA.
Does anybody know anything about politics of Representative @IlhanMN's grandpa, Abukar Omar, who was head of National Maritime Transport (e.g., lighthouses) under Somali Marxist-Leninist (but after 1978 pro-USA) dictator Said Barre until his supremo's overthrow in 1991?
A little bit reminiscent of how virtually nobody in USA noticed Barack Obama's stepdad Lolo Soetoro was on the side of the Winners in Indonesian rightwing genocide of 1965-66. Lolo was a decent guy who may have felt bad about what he did in bloodbath and drunk himself to death.

Sorry, but the extraordinary race gap in Olympic 100 meter dash results (all finalists since 1984 have been black) correlates with lots of mundane realities like: Who bullies whom in playground, and who takes up street crime: those most likely to outrun their pursuers.
Sprinting ability, like distance running ability, is not some bizarre idiosyncrasy, it's a basic human trait that evolution selects for. But better running efficiency correlates with narrower hips, which correlate with lower birthweights and smaller skulls: profound tradeoffs.
E.g., at a Chicago shopping mall in 1982 I watched a black thief try to outrun two mestizo security guards in hot pursuit. Who had a better combo of running speed and endurance would determine how much reproductive activity the criminal would engage in over the next few years.
