Bí Sàngó bá pà àràbà, tó bá pà Ìrókò bi ti’gí nlá kó. Loosely translated as “If Sàngó the god of Thunder decimates the Àràbà tree & annihilate the Ìrókò tree, Ïgï Nlá (The Humungous tree) will never go down the same way, if it shakes at all.” ⛱ 
I have said many times over that there is a lot we can learn from nature around us if we pay enough attention. The universe expresses itself through us. The Humungous (mysterious) Tree is like no other in the forest. Those from Ile Oluji will tell you this much.
You see, No human can survive approaching Igi Nlá ordinarily. Its leaves never falls to the ground but are mysteriously collected by a natural cobweb woven around the tree branches. No grass or living things grow under it or within its radius. Yes it is that magically regarded.
As recounted by many, if any bird touches this tree it dies instantly and so does other living things. But like I said also that no tree grows into heaven without its roots reaching deep into Hell. There is a socio-economic good of the mysterious tree.
Its bark and root are widely used in the preparation of potent charms. It is obtained by approaching the tree from a distance, while a rooster is thrown at it after series of incantations. It is also a Justice System. It speaks & offer guidance. They copied this in Avatar (Ewa).
When its help is sought spiritually, its fig becomes an accompanying emissary with the petitioner, which draws a loud clap of thunderous sound from the heavens. The mysterious tree is also called Asorin. Igikigi kii dari so Asorin (No hopeless tree confronts Asorin).
For practical experience of my illustration, kindly visit places like Efon-Alaaye in Ekitiland, Iwara in Ijeshaland & Ile-Ife. The tree is very rare but will forever lives on even when we are no longer here battling ourselves foolishly over vanity. Pay attention to nature.
