Remember when Theresa May spent £1bn to purchase the votes of 10 DUP MPs?

(Working out as £100m per head)

We've done the maths on the £1.6bn "Stronger Towns Fund"

Only one Labour MP changed their vote from January to March: Caroline Flint

Price of that one vote: £1.6bn
and yes chances are she would have voted for it anyway

Leaders of Lib Dems, Greens, Plaid, SNP were meant to meet Corbyn this afternoon. He didn't turn up.

Maybe due to Bercow bombshell but attendees unimpressed. "Not sure it shows his willingness to work cross-party," says one attendee.

New meeting fixed for tomorrow.
here's part of the *rather pointed* statement just released by the four party leaders:

"We welcome the opportunity to sit down together with Jeremy Corbyn for the first time tomorrow. The UK faces an unprecedented crisis with Brexit, and Westminster remains deeply divided."
One source told me that the four weren’t given advance notice of the cancellation.

But Corbyn team denying that strongly:

“They were told at 1505 that JC couldn’t make 1630 and offered a time tomorrow which they accepted at 1632....”

John Bercow about to make a mysterious statement
Bercow now citing Erskine May to pole-axe Theresa May by questioning whether she can bring back the “meaningful vote” again if unchanged:

“It’s a necessary rule to ensure the sensible use of the House’s time.”

Lots of chuntering now as he builds up to a big announcement.....

it pains me to break the news that Chris Grayling faces potential bill of up to £28m to re-negotiate his ferry no-Deal contracts because the existing deals only covers exit on March 29

At my farmers market this morning. Notice anything about the pictures?
This pics are not staged. The GOP guys were all wearing hunting clothes, red caps (a couple of them were wearing caps from the DC football club with the offensive name), had flags covering the table, and (although you can't see it in this shot), they brought a German shepherd.
Someone came by the Dem table and said, "Oh look. The guys brought the Hermann Goering police dog today."

The dog was nice though. But he was scary looking.

Theresa May: very good progress made since Salzburg, teams of negotiators working "very hard". We've solved most of the WA issues.
Asked directly if she would seek a one year transition, May says: "What we will be doing is looking at the issues relating to the backstop on NI, I believe it is possible by working together to find a resolution to that issue...
"and a resolution that ensures we are able to move forward with the full package, with the future partnership as well. Considerable progress has been made since Salzburg, by working instensively over the next weeks I believe we can achieve a deal"

First off, we must thank-you all. We launched a poll on Monday expecting maybe 500 responses maximum. Instead we had a whopping three-thousand-two-hundred-and-thirty votes on our Twitter poll.

That’s ridiculous.
We asked you which party you thought had the oldest average age of MPs.

Most of you, 66%, thought it was the @Conservatives, then the @LibDems (15%), then @UKLabour (14%), with the @theSNP coming in last with (5%).

I bet the SNP are feeling fairly youthful right about now.

Okay, since we're debating anti-semitism again, let's have a quick run-through of what #Labour might have done, and what they have done.
Have they announced a specific speech by the Leader, or Deputy Leader, admitting mistakes in the past, and laying out a *specific* policy agenda to tackle the problem? No.
Have they admitted that, while of course one finds AS in lots of places, there is a *particular variant* of the curse on the Left, which is insidiously worming its way into the party's DNA? No.
