I need a cis lesbian rant. This one is about London Pride.

Ok. Terfs are going to claim it's their right to wave their transphobic horse shit banners because "lesbian erasure". WRONG.

Picture this:
1) Terf Lesbians waving banners "Get the B out!" cuz Bisexuals give lesbians a bad rep!!

2) Gay men waving banners "Get the B out!" cuz Bisexuals give lesbians a bad rep!!

3) Bisexuals waving banners "Get the B out!" cuz we ALL erase their identities pretty fucking often.
There's no chance in hell that this shit gets allowed during OUR PRIDE because its a load of bullshit!! So if this shit doesn't fly, why the hell should we allow terfs to pull this crap on our trans siblings??? The answer is WE DO NOT ALLOW IT.
Without the T you ignorant history denying fuckers, there would be NO PRIDE for you attempt to sabotage and use for your bigoted fucking crusade.

LGBTQ+ is a community. Yes, it's not perfect. We are not a monolith but during Pride season, we put that shit aside an UNITE.
The entire cis heterosexual world is watching us. The homophobes line up every fucking day to attack our rights and oppress us. They try to force us all back into hiding and WE WON'T GO AWAY. this is OUR time to be visible.
Pride season is OURS. No fucking terf should get to so much as wave a fucking tissue in the air during OUR TIME.

If Pride London fucks this up and allows terfs to pull the shit they did last, it's on all of us too. If you see those fuckers, REPORT THEM to security.
Challenge their transphobia (peacefully) and make sure they know they aren't welcome at our Pride. We need to step the fuck up here people. Trans folks are our family and they need to see us fight for them now more than ever.
Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Trans lesbians are lesbians. Trans gay men are gay. Bi trans folk, pan trans folk, ace/aro trans folk are all totally valid and deserver respect. Non-Binary folks are who they tell you they are! They are our FAMILY.
Stand in solidarity with our Trans and Non-Binary family this coming Pride season and we can squash the terf bullshit once and for all within our community. It's time to stand the fuck up and be counted.

Imagine being this person? Imagine gay guys waving banners hating lesbians, lesbians waving banners hating gay guys, Queers hating on Bisexuals etc... What kind of Pride would that be ffs? There's no Pride in HATE. Don't post shit like this to me. Hate has no place in Pride.

1/ It's Friday. I've seen another tweet this morning from a cis woman who claims she's scared of trans women and that they should "cut their dicks off".

There's too many cis people who have no idea what it means to be trans. People like this one, honestly they infuriate me.
2/ It isn't hard to read up on trans issues. It isn't hard to talk to trans people and get to know them. If you take the time to do this, you'll find out everything you need to know if you actually listen to them when they speak.
3/ I'm going to try and educate some cis folks here, with a few things I've learned from my trans friends.

First: USA based trans friends. I've learned that they pay for all of their transition surgeries. This means that they have work and save money for every step.

There’s a lot of bigot vitriol surrounding how we “identify”.

When I say we, I mean members of the LGBTQ community.

When I say bigot, they’re usually white cishet middle class bigots who’ve got nothing better to do with their time than hate on people who are different from them.

2/
They usually have the same talking points that they focus on.
Things like “You’re all perverts and pedophiles” or “You’re all sex offenders & rapists” or “You’re all unsafe around NORMAL people & kids” or “You’re mentally ill” or “You’re sinners” or “You’re grooming kids.”

I've been thinking a lot about my gender identity lately. I'll be honest here. Until I became more involved with trans issues, I had never questioned who I am on such a profound level. Some would call that cis privilege, which in fact it is but as I'd never had an occasion 1/
to examine that, I was unaware that cis privilege was even a thing. In my case, getting to know trans/NB people forced me out of my "cis box" so to speak. It gave me another perspective from which to examine my own identity & really think about what it means to be cisgender. 2/
I was accidentally born a female. I was then assigned female by the person at the hospital who took a quick look at my genitals and just like that... F on the birth certificate. Now in my case, they were spot on. The thing is, as a baby, how would I know? It took years of 3/

Bad investment? Are you fucking kidding me??? Who DOESNT know that it's a bad investment, bad investment is the point. It's stated existence is to reduce the flow of people, trade, ideas, etc., and to chop up available land, and infrastructure, w/o increasing production.
Inasmuch 'is it cost effective at reducing migration', one could use the term 'efficient', but this also misses the point. I think most advocates of the wall would tell you that the cost is irrelevant, bc they care about the symbolism, and reducing migration for its own sake.
