George Conway stayed obscure for decades then stepped into the limelight as "NeverTrump" weeks b4 Kennedy announcement. He got NeverTrump support for Kavanaugh. His movements were very deliberate. He asked to be invited to (then secret) NeverTrump meetings in DC. I was there 2/2
@jaketapper the Conways con is not out of loyalty to Trump. It's about the long game -- SCOTUS, federal judges, and the agenda of the Federalist Society and the Council for National Policy (CNP). Also their own survival post Trump and what is sure to be a CNN contract for her😉

“Importantly, it’s clear that if this is what Trump and his team of thugs could do to me — have me hacked, launder the info, and then try to use it against me without having their paw prints on it – they certainly are capable of doing it to Hillary, the DNC and others.”

22 GOP Senate seats are up in 2020. Mueller is making it hard for Senate R's to vote "nay" to convict Trump once the House impeaches. McConnell & Murdoch mtg likely was to plan timing of turning on Trump. Get him to resign or GOP Senate will get him out to limit 2020 massacre
It's also possible McConnell doesn't want to "protect" Mueller because he wants to give Trump enough rope to hang himself, making it easier for GOP Senate to vote to convict, thus limiting 2020 bloodshed (and beyond)
McConnell will publicly whip the votes to convict Trump so that Trump will resign, but the GOP Senators who need to be on the record that they would vote to oust Trump still can use it in their campaigns.

1) First the obvious. Dr. Christine Ford has 3rd party documentation dating from 2012. It doesn’t name Kavanaugh, but it names the circumstances. She’s got the receipts, baby!
2) Second, she has already taken a polygraph test. Has #Kavanaugh taken a polygraph test? No. And considering the number of times he has already been found to lie under oath, he probably should have!

OMG this week isn't bad enough: JUSTICE KENNEDY JUST ANNOUNCED HE IS RETIRING. A president whose legitimacy is under question for a rigged election, who attacks the US constitution and American values—gets to appoint yet ANOTHER Supreme Court Justice. Things are very very wrong.
So much for an independent judiciary. Justice Kennedy retiring now assures his political party—a Republican—gets to appoint his successor AND puts the Supreme Court on Nov ballot. Which should also put more pressure on every last American to stand up to Trump dismantling America.
