Asked Corbyn after Barnier/Selmayr meet if it was only route to avoid No Deal, could he rule out backing A50 revocation...
“These are hypotheticals..we think there’s an urgency in constructing a majority for an agreeable solution that’s what we’re concentrating on at the moment”
... he was asked again by @mattfrei and again did not rule out the idea, if it was the only way to stop a No Deal next week, of revocation - NB a parliamentary petition launched on this subject yesterday has now topped 1 million signatories, rather rapidly.
I caught up with EU27 Council member currently hearing from the PM at the Summit...rather captures hardline mood of frustration: Xavier Bettel Lux PM:
“You decided to leave - you want us to be the bad guy - we are not in a souk where we are going to bargaining for next 5 yrs”.
PM Bettel also said:
“I really believe that if there is no deal in next days or weeks there will be No Deal, we can’t extend...people want an answer...
we can wait and wait and wait the person we are waiting for with a clear answer is not coming - for me it is then over”.

Seems to be confirmation of third country tariffs being applied to all UK exports into EU under WTO rules - 45% of exports

Brexit Secretary Steve Barclay says that yes there is a “crisis” and that is the fact that the Commons is trying to take over Government tomorrow
Barclay says timing of MV might be before indicative votes or after - Tues or Thurs.

Indicative vote “not binding” says Barclay - “ultimately risk of GE increases if PArliament instructs Executive to do something counter to what out was elected to do - constitutional collision”
