HUGE: The Wisconsin power grab lame-duck laws are on hold! Dane Cty judge issued a temporary injunction in lawsuit by the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, Disability Rights Wisconsin, & Black Leaders Organizing for Communities. THANKS to @LWV_WI @drwisconsin @blocbyblocMKE!
The odious, democracy-attacking power grab laws passed last December are intended to overturn the decision of the people of Wisconsin in last fall's elections. More background in this video. So grateful to those who've fought and never stopped fighting.

The thread below outlines what the power grab fight looked like in real time when the GOP bills were released last fall. What's happened since is continual resistance. The GOP press on in court; the story isn't over. But today is a major step forward.

Massive appreciation to the ace team at @protctdemocracy, which brought the lawsuit challenging the WI power grab on behalf of @LWV_WI @drwisconsin and @blocbyblocMKE and won an injunction today.
