5/ Mendoza is also friendly with Tony Greenstein, expelled from Labour for antisemitism , & Elleanne Green who runs a secret Facebook group, Palestine Live, containing holocaust denial & claims Israel was behind 9/11, 7/7 & ISIS #SFFN
6/ Last year @NUJOfficial cancelled a speaking event with Mendoza, after The Canary published an article suggesting a Guardian journalist in Nicaragua was “linked to [the] US regime-change machine,” despite @pressfreedom warning of risks to his safety. #SFFN
7/ After the reporter was detained by Nicaragua, Mendoza attacked The Guardian’s “irresponsible decision to gather news from this… source,” and, rather than stand in solidarity, said his arrest “reinforced rather than undermined” her article. #SFFN
