I think McConnell knows something we don't.

Remember, McConnell prevented Barack Obama from warning America more strongly before the 2016 election.

It's the same thing.

Privileged dickheads think they can do anything with impunity. Cheat, lie, steal, destroy the rules, violate the laws--doesn't matter. When you're rich enough, you can do anything.

When a fauxgressive insists "every advanced country in the world has a single-payer universal healthcare plan", he may not realize he's lying.

Let's look at the facts. Center for American Progress has a quick guide as part of this article:

"In England, the National Health Service owns and runs hospitals and employs or contracts with physicians."

I suppose that's as close as anyone gets to universal single-payer. So that's one (1).

Not single-payer, and with "substantial coinsurance" for certain medical necessities, so not zero-out-of-pocket either.

There's a reason even Bush and Cheney were not prosecuted for war crimes and rights abuses they clearly committed. The slippery slope is far too seductive. Imagine if that precedent had been in place; Trump would already have Obama and the Clintons in prison on nonsense charges.
We have a vital history of NOT prosecuting former political leaders. Nixon was not charged, and neither was Reagan. Such prosecutions can too easily become frivolous.

But all this has emboldened Trump and his evil advisers, who think because of that history, he's above the law.
That tradition will have to change--Trump MUST be prosecuted--but it has to change in a way that doesn't encourage future presidents to jail previous ones on a whim.

America is going to need an independent Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

This is a moral imperative.
