The @nytimes, true to form, published a piece called "I Broke Up With Her Because She’s White." The headline is disturbing meta race-baiting for clicks, but the piece itself concerns something I talk a lot about — stay-in-your-lane-ism + a virulent familial → cultural racism 
The idea is that trying to be exceptionally good at anything is "white," and therefore laughably out of reach, and that even your own presumably-middling "status" is damaged by building a life with someone whose skin is darker than yours. Horrible.
There's a "woke" layer to this thing, invoking a deranged duty to first internalize inane judgment on one's racially "inappropriate" partner, and then enter a reframing loop that spins you around until you're dizzy enough to write something like this
Reflecting on this, I realized that what really freaks me out about SJW/woke culture is that it has figured out how to strip its constituency of the ability to perform even the most basic sanity checks. Like, wait, we're racial separatists now? Cool cool cool
