Banaras Hindu Uni. was established due to efforts of the rulers like Sayajirao Gaekwad of Vadodara state & other. Rulers of Travancore ensured high literacy for which Kerala is known today. Rulers such as Jaya Chamaraja Wadiyar of Mysore played active role in founding VHP. 1/n
Not only that but Independent India acquire huge infrastructure in terms of Railway, airports, factories, Dams & power stations & more (for free) when these states merged into India. These rulers embedded in ethos of Dharmic monarchy were true Hindu nationalists & visionaries.2/n
Please note how Congress today tries to portray as before Nehru there was no progressive thinking leader in India. But as of can see all these rulers were not only progressive & visionary but far more connected to the roots of their motherland then any congressman! 3/n
No wonder Nehru who loved British Monarchy hated Indian rulers and wanted to thoroughly wiped them out. He even threatened them with army. It was Sardar Patel and Menon who gave this noble lineages of India a honorable and graceful departure to maintaining their dignity. 4/n
What Nehru couldn't do was done by his daughter. In the name of she broke the promises given to them by Sardar Patel. And when they protested she wiped them out and threw some in jail in the name of "Garibi hatao". Do you know how much pension were we paying them in 70s? 5/n
Sum total of Rs. 6 crores only! Some states received as low as 50 Rs. Which was nothing if we take into account various assets that we acquired from them as mentioned above such as Railways, factories, banks, power stations and so on.
Some states received as low as 50 Rs. in pension. More than money it was a gesture to preserve their dignity and to show our gratitude. I mean imagine if only 3-4 princely states would have refused to join Indian union! It would have been a tremendous headache for new country.7/n
And yet we, under the leadership of our queen loving anglicized Nehruvians wiped out our ancient noble lineages (some of them being oldest of the Dynasties of the world)! 8/n
And now this lady of lowly standing boasts how her great grand pa and grand ma wiped out every trace of Visionary princely rulers so that they can take credit of their works and establish their own dynasty!
