1. Consummate Skulduggery American Style (Speculative Thread)

Something was seriously wrong with the engineering of Boeing's 737 Max airplanes. A very expensive product had a serious flaw. Redesign was too costly, so a software fix was made to compensate for a hardware problem.
2. That's just about as succinctly as I can describe a very complicated engineering issue, but then again, forget the technical details of the issue itself. Just know that it cost lives and Boeing is in big trouble because of that, quite rightly so.
3. Boeing is losing an enormous amount of business and its liability for the lost lives is off the charts, so much so that its very existence as a business could be threatened. Much as I would hate to see such malfeasance or incompetence go less than fully punished, I am torn.

Not everybody has croissant in LaGuardia. There are plenty of places you can get a croissant for less than a dollar. Similarly, there are plenty of places $15/hour labor is too high and plenty of places it's too low. Market decides. Are you going to set prices for croissants too?

This is a simple and serious thread. Dear @AOC, pay attention. America is deliberately designed to give the states the power to govern themselves as they see fit, except where federal powers are necessary and wise.
2. Federal powers to override the state powers are only necessary for matters that cannot reasonably or appropriately be handled at a state level or where adjudication between states is required for a harmonious functioning of our republic.

And by the way, don't let the leftists get away with the fraudulent fiction that 3,000 people died in Puerto Rico from a hurricane. The actual number was something like 12, counting the way such numbers have been counted since time immemorial. The left lies about everything.
The 3,000 number comes from a newly minted academic "model" that attributes all kinds of subsequent statistical deaths over a long time period to the hurricane. By that methodology, death toll from 9/11 could run into hundreds of thousands. This is vicious political trickery.
Where are the names of the 3,000 people who died from Mara in Puerto Rico? They don't exist because it's a statistical calculation based on something called "excess mortality rate." That's not how death toll from any other disaster, natural or man made, has ever been reported.

Well, I just watched the movie, and I found the case against MJ deeply flawed. THREAD.
Claims of child abuse against MJ are nothing new. From 1993 to his death he was dogged by accusations, and even subject to thorough investigations by both the FBI and LAPD. After a lengthy court trial, he was acquitted on all counts.

The evidence I have goes back two years and includes post history from multiple forums and social media sites, address histories, and corroborating photographs.
When I addressed Cihlar by name, he didn’t deny it.

So their coordinated denials are meaningless as the evidence that has been archived is extensive, and in any case it’s not for a court of public opinion to decide.
