did you know, that if you slice up bread real nice, cut up some garlic to make your fingers stink, and plonk that sweet garlic and butter in the bread slices, and put it in the oven, you get garlic bread

So, we found a live bat in our rare book store.

We have a big, boring box with lots of fun, rare historic archives and books in it.

It’s so boring on the outside we don’t have an image on file.

But it is very exciting on the inside.
It’s where we keep the Ladybird Books Archive, medieval manuscripts, our children’s book collection, the WH Smith archive – it’s a treasure trove.

Full of lovely, lovely books.

Let’s talk about bull semen, and art.

The @urbandictionary defines ‘sire’ as an

‘Old tyme'y way of referring to a king or lord. Usually used now to sarcastically refer to somebody with an inflated ego.’

It also means the male parent of an animal, especially when it comes to bulls.
We need semen to make more cattle (spoiler), but it’s actually quite rare for a cow to be impregnated the old-fashioned way.

Instead, many farmers find a bull with the right characteristics, buy its semen and then artificially inseminate their herd.

But with the Gender Recognition Act consultation coming to a close tomorrow why not contemplate something really radical....like TRUE equality under the law.
What might true equality look like? Not what we have now, obvs.
