A couple of days ago, AAP ex Lokpal L Ramdas, who incidentally served as India's naval chief went on a rant against PM Modi with his anti-Hindu statements.

Many of my friends asked why I was not reacting to it and I told them that anything said would only give senile old man more publicity. But a few facts will expose Mr Ramdas and his modus operandi.

Ramdas was a smart man and knew how to get to the top. In 1961, he was called to New Delhi to become flag lieutenant to Vice Admiral Ram Dass Katari, the first Indian to become an admiral and chief of the naval staff after the British.

There he wormed his way up and had a roaring affair with Katari’s daughter Lalita. Despite an angry Katari who was upset with this un-officer like behaviour, Ramdas later went on marry the Vice Admiral’s daughter.

Ramdas rose steadily in the ranks, becoming commodore in 1979, rear admiral in 1981, vice admiral in 1985, flag officer commander in chief of the Southern Naval Command in 1987 and of the Eastern Naval Command in 1989, and finally admiral, chief of the naval staff, in 1990.

He was kind of ok while in service, despite his wife having symapthies for left leaning NGOs with whom, she had developed a close relationship. He lobbied hard for his promotions with then then PMs Chandrashekar and P V Narasimha Rao.

The then Secretary Defence, Raja Ramanna helped out Ramdas to work around unwritten rules when his ACR disclosed that all three of his (Ramdas's) daughters were Green Card holders.

There were rumours about his soft side for Pakistan long before his post retirement sympathies for General Musharaff and others in Pakistan surfaced.

As a young captain in the 1970s, Ramdas was posted to Bonn in Germany as a naval attaché and here he came into contact with Pakistani Brigadier Rauf and developed a close relationship with him.

Intelligence agencies in India reported the matter to the then Defence Minister that Brig Rauf was a Pakistani intelligence officer in the garb of an attache, and Ramdas was getting too close for comfort.

For those who came in late, Admiral Ramdas is married to Lalita Ramdas, who has served as the chair of Greenpeace International. That Modi Sarkar kicked the daylights out of Greepeace is well known, so that will give you one good reason for Ramdas to 'hang his head in shame'.

Their daughter, Kavita Ramdas was the country representative of the Ford Foundation in India and she married a Pakistani, whose uncle wanted to bomb the Pentagon and kidnap Henry Kissinger.

As a former Admiral of Indian Navy, Mr Ramdas would have been privy to long term strategies and Gen Musharraf found in him a peace dove with strategic value.

Nirmal Mukherjee, a former cabinet secretary, was the Indian chapter's chairperson and one of the founders, along with peace activist, hold your breath, Teesta Setalvad and Rajni Kothari on the Indian side,

and former Pakistani Prime Minister Mubashar Hasan, psychiatrist Haroon Ahmed and his wife Anis Haroon, and journalist Ibn Abdur Rehman on the Pakistani side.

Later, Mukherjee's ill health meant that Ramdas took over the mantle of PIPFPD. The entire effort including flying in Pakistani peaceniks via Dubai, their stay in five star hotels was funded by ISI through its front agencies in UAE.

Now that is quite a cocktail for Aman ki Asha - a former Indian naval chief hands in glove with ISI.Along the way the Magsaysay Foundation conferred its award on Ramdas for doing their bidding.

Unless you have been living in a cave, you would know that Magsaysay is funded by Ford Foundation and indirectly by CIA.In 2003, Ramdas helped found the People’s Integration Council,

an overtly political action group “to bring together various members of the opposition on one common platform" with a one-point agenda: to get rid of the then BJP government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.His motives were backed by the US and UAE based NGOs, which were financing

him and his wife quite heavily.Mr Ramdas did not stop there, he donned the role of anti-nuclear activist rallying opinion against the Koodankulam nuclear plant. That the nuclear plant was the first in a series being funded and built by Russians did not please the US

along with CIA funded NGOs.Need more? I guess this would be good enough for today. Adm Ramdas role in AAP and his being eventually kicked out from the post of Lokpal by Kejrwial and Co Pvt Ltd has been written about extensively.

My objective was not to write a long essay but expose crooks like Adm Ramdas.
