The sad reality of the QAnon conspiracy theory is that even once the Q poster's identity is revealed, the scam won't end. Followers will dig in even harder, and the movement will have an instant public face.

Once revealed, the QAnon poster will have their own YouTube channel in a day. They'll claim they are only a conduit for secret information from secret sources. They'll keep posting drops. And the cash will roll in.
Some people have asked me who I think QAnon is, and I have no real theories. But the poster is most likely:
- not the original Q on 4chan
- not connected to Trump or military intelligence
- very smart and skilled in psychology and manipulation
- making a lot of money off this

It's also quite likely that QAnon drops are posted by several people. Like I said earlier, while it's in the public interest to see the poster/posters unmasked, it also won't have much of an impact on the scam. Disconfirmation almost never does.
