Breaking laws is no longer a disqualification in the GOP.
In fact, law breaking has become a "badge of honor" in the Republican Party. (See link in the next tweet)

Member of the GOP who don't break laws, are fine when other people (even POTUS) do it.
It isn’t hard to understand the GOP law breaking: The GOP doesn’t think those laws should be there.
The GOP wants to take us back to the days before such things as money laundering, campaign fraud, insider trading, etc. were illegal. They want to take us back to the 1920s. . .
And they could grab:
Broidy broke a law they don't think should be there, so close their eyes.
Heck, they even cheer.
